Zoe is dead.
Which would be a problem if technology did not granted dead people with 30 days to realize, in their After Death , their unfulfilled wishes. So thanks to her 30 extra days, Zoe is finally going to go on that trip she’s been dreaming about her whole life.
Norman is in trouble.
He had not planned to replace his boss who himself had not planned to get into a messy divorce. So Norman accompanies the rock band Screaming Eloise on tour in Finland. The crowd, the groupies, the whimsical musicians and the kilometers of road, by train, by bus, by plane.
Zoe wants to see the world. Norman wants to go back to bed.
In the logic of things, they meet at the airport.
While everything separates them, their trip is going to begin badly , then to turn into a nightmare before being transformed into an initiatory road movie where each will have to find at first its place in the world before giving way for the other one in its heart.
Until death do them part.
Version 2 : réécriture du pitch
In this world, when you die, you get 30 extra days to get your life in order, say your goodbyes and fulfill your last wishes.
Meet Zoe. She just died and during her last 30 days she wants to travel the world, starting with Venice, Italy.
Meet Norman. He’s (unwillingly) filling in for his boss as manager on the Screaming Eloise European tour (they’re this famous rock band, remember?).
Zoe wants to travel the world. Norman wants to go back to bed.
Of course, they meet at the airport.
Their journey begins with frustration, goes on with a catastrophe, then slowly turns into an epic road trip including burning down a hotel room, seeing whales, running, doubting a lot and eventually, finding what they were not even looking for.
